Big Brother Naija All-Star Housemate, Seyi Awolowo, has expressed deep regret over a comment he made against women.
Recall that Seyi, while chatting with some housemates, said he would give birth to boys so that they can have sexual encounters with different women.
Seyi’s comment got the attention of the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Agency which condemned the reality TV star.
“We strongly condemn the comments made by Seyi Awolowo in the disturbing video that has surfaced. Such remarks perpetuate harmful attitudes and contribute to a culture of violence and abuse.
“The bystanders’ passive response in the video is also deeply concerning because it only enables such behaviour to persist. It is important for us all to actively speak up in circumstances such as this,” the statement read.
Apart from the Lagos State government, netizens criticized him for making such a distasteful statement, some even called for his disqualification from the all-star show.
But Seyi, who has always put up a lively mood, showed deep remorse after Big Brother asked him about the comment during his diary session.
The sombre mood looking Seyi kept groaning while saying the comment was unfair and dark.
“I am married to a beautiful woman. My mother has been there for me. I shouldn’t have made that comment,” Seyi said.
He added: “It is a very dark thing to say about anybody’s child. It is very unfair.”
