Naira Marley, the boss of Marlian record music, has revealed that he is not making money from songs that Mohbad sang after leaving the Marlian music record label.

Naira Marley, who is wanted by the Nigerian masses, revealed during an interview with former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, that he never stopped the singer from recording or making money after he left Marlian music.

” I’m not making money from his new music that he is droping outside Marlian music. No, we are not stopping his growth we are not stopping him from dropping music when he left,” Naira Marley said.

The singer added that he was prepared to travel back to Nigeria for questioning as long as the country’s police could ensure his safety.

Naira Marley, who emphasised that he knew nothing about the singer’s passing, asserted that some people were attempting to hide the real cause of Mohbad’s demise.

Following the singer’s passing, there have been more calls for his arrest, which led to his comment.

PoliticsNow recalls that following the death of the singer a few weeks ago, Nigerians have persisted in demanding Sam Larry and Naira Marley’s arrest.

Sam Larry was seen in a viral video harassing the singer while filming it, which sparked the uproar. However, Sam Larry and his former label boss were named in a police complaint that Mohbad filed in June.

The singer requested police protection from his former label owner, who, in the singer’s words, was out for his life.

The police have however conducted an autopsy to ascertain the cause of the singer’s death with many Nigerians patiently waiting for the outcome of the autopsy.
