I will sustain Buhari’s legacy – Tinubu
The All Progressives Congress, APC , Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu says he will work hard to sustain the legacy of the Buhari administration and diligently and vigorously pursue all the agenda in his manifesto
He made the pledge in Lagos on Tuesday during the grand finale of the APC Presidential campaign at Teslim Balogun stadium, Surulere.
Attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, serving senators and House of Representatives members, as well as some Governors and former Governors on the platform of the party, the rally was preceded by a campaign train round some parts of Lagos by the campaign team.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu thanked President Buhari, whom he said has been encouraging him for his support and promised to work hard for Nigerians.
“I assure you that as you worked hard for me, I will work hard for Nigeria. As you give Nigerians the hope to renew their faith in their country, I will sustain that hope. I will bring it to those who look helpless today. All the agenda in our programme, the renewed hope manifesto, will be pursued diligently and vigorously with all our energy.”
Earlier, Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu thanked the people for turning out in large numbers for the rally and urged them to do the same on Saturday to vote for APC.
Highlight of the rally was the lifting up of the hands of the APC Presidential candidate, Lagos State Governor who is vying for a second term and their running mates by President Muhammadu Buhari amidst ovations from all party members present.
