I lost 17 brand deals over online controversies – Phyna

The former winner of Big Brother Naija reality show Season 7, Phyna, has opened up about the significant impact her online controversies had on her career, resulting in the loss of 17 endorsement deals.

Phyna shared the details of her experience, revealing that one of the brands rejected collaborating with her, labeling her an ‘abuser.’ She explained that this negative perception stemmed from blogs accusing her of slapping someone.

In her own words, she expressed the extent of the losses, saying, “Two weeks ago, my manager and I did a calculation of how many deals I lost from last year till now. We counted 17 deals. I’m aware of one very big brand; they told me their reason for not working with me. They told me that they can’t work with an abuser.”
