Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said he simpathises with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his fall while climbing a vehicle to inspect a parade.
Tinubu slipped and fell before his security detail could reach to support him against reaching the ground.
Although Tinubu was able to recover and continue with the inspection of the parade, the fall stole the attention from other activities of the democracy day event.
In the post, he also said he hoped all was well with Tinubu.
The post reads: “I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, @officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day. I do hope that all is well with him. -AA”
