BANANA BREAD
It is a homemade bread you can make on weekends and enjoy throughout the week jam, honey, and other extras
INGREDIENTS
Ripe bananas – 2-3 pieces
Flour – 1 cup
Eggs – 4 pieces
Evaporated milk – 1-2 cups
Butter – 0.75 cup
Sugar – 0.25 cup
Yeast – 0.5 teaspoon
Baking soda – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
Nuts (cashew or ground nuts) -0.25 cup
DIRECTIONS
Take the eggs out of the refrigerator so that they reach the room temperature by the time you will have to add them to this recipe.
If you have a microwave, pre-heat the milk for half a minute in it. If you don’t have this machine, pre-heat the milk on a stove.
Carefully add yeast to your milk and mix this mixture.
Take another bowl and put flour in it. Add baking soda, sugar, and salt and mix all these ingredients.
You should break all the nuts into tiny pieces. Do this with a spoon or rolling pin.
The butter needs to be melted.
Take another bowl and peel bananas. Use a spoon or masher to mash this product inside the bowl.
In another bowl, break the eggs and gently whisk them.
Inside your mixture of milk plus yeast and flour, slowly pour the melted butter plus bananas. Mix everything together.
Add all other ingredients (the dry ones) and keep mixing.
Add the nuts and continue to mix all the products. Your dough will look nice and smooth when ready.
You need a bread pan. Put the dough on it and decorate the top with the leftover nuts.
Preheat your oven and bake the bread for about 60 minutes

COCONUT CANDIES

INGREDIENTS: Everything you will need to make coconut candy snack is one coconut, water and powdered sugar (200 grams).
DIRECTIONS
*Break your coconut. Make sure it is fresh. Collect all the juice into a separate bowl.
*Scoop all the coconut meat away from the shell and grate it into small pieces.
*Add sugar to the bowl with coconut juice and mix. Add the fruit ‘meat’ pieces as well and keep stirring everything together.
*Pour the water to slightly cover all the coconut meat. Stir your ingredients.
*Place everything you have in the bowl into a deep pot. Cover it and place on the stove at high temperature.
*Your ingredients will boil, and you should stir them and then lower down the heat. Let the contents cook until you see the pieces of coconut meat turn light-brown color. Now put the pot away from the stove and let your candy cool down.
