Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has asked the people of the state to maintain peace and order following the death of the Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, in the US.
Fubara in a post on his official X account @SimFubaraKSC, also asked the people to pray for Wigwe’s family.
He said: “We just received the sad news of the air disaster in California involving our compatriot Dr. @HerbertOWigwe, his wife and son.
“While we await the true report of the situation, we urge our people to remain calm as we continue to pray for him and the entire family.”
Herber Wigwe died yesterday in a helicopter crash that also killed his wife, son and another Nigerian born businessman.
