Gospel singer Timilehin Ajayi arrested over alleged butchering of girlfriend’s head

Abuja gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend.

On Sunday, January 12, Ajayi, also a TikTok content creator and fitness enthusiast, was caught near a church in Orozo, Abuja, carrying a black nylon bag. The bag, which was attracting flies, contained a severed human head.

Ajayi, originally from Kabba in Kogi State, was searched by authorities after being noticed carrying the suspicious bag. When questioned, he confessed to killing his girlfriend, with whom he had been in a relationship for one year. In a video shared online, Ajayi disclosed his involvement in the gruesome act.

The incident has shocked many, especially considering Ajayi’s public persona as a gospel singer. The police are continuing their investigation, while the video of Ajayi’s confession has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage and concern about such violent crimes.
