Nigerian artist Esegine Allen, popularly known as Orezi, expressed his distress over a fire that engulfed his residence in the Lekki area of Lagos State. Orezi took to his Instagram story on Tuesday to share images and videos of the aftermath of the fire, conveying the shock and devastation he felt.
In his post, Orezi reflected on the challenging events of the previous night, still trying to comprehend the extent of the damage. Expressing gratitude for God’s mercy, he recounted receiving a call from his neighbor, Bobrisky, informing him about the fire while he was at a meeting in Lekki county around 11:48 pm.
Initially thinking it was a joke, Orezi rushed to his home only to be confronted with the heartbreaking reality of the situation. The artist shared his disbelief and gratitude for God’s protection despite the unfortunate incident.
Orezi, who began his music career in 2009, has collaborated with various producers and gained recognition for his 2012 hit, “Rihanna.”
