Human rights activist, Dele Farotimi has appreciated Nigerians who stood by him in his travail with the authorities.
Farotimi who regained his freedom on Tuesday after meeting his bail conditions, told a cross section of supporters who were at the prison facility to receive him that he has never lied against anyone in his fight against injustice.
He said it is not ever an easy journey when one is fighting evil.
Hear him: “Some years back before I started this work, God told me and I heard him clearly. He says the truth is enough. It is the only weapon by which you can slay the monster called Nigeria.
“In my public advocacy, in my fight against this evil empire that we all live, I have never lied against anyone. If I don’t know, I say I don’t know.”
