President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is one of the greatest patriots to ever walk the shore of Nigeria, according to a former spokesman of the Atiku Abubakar campaign organisation, Daniel Bwala who compared the President to one of America’s founding fathers, Abraham Lincoln.
Bwala had less than a month ago said Tinubu already used up 30 percent of his four years tenure in office with nothing to show for it. He added that even if another 30 years were added to the president’s time, nothing would change.
But in a new twist after meeting Tinubu in the villa last week, Bwala described the president’s competence and patriotism in the most glowing terms.
He said: “He values competence, loyalty and dedication. He looks beyond primordial sentiments, he recognizes the difference between politics and collaboration for the good of the country. To him, the country comes first: to every patriot the country should come first. @officialABAT (Tinubu) adopts the Abraham Lincoln Style of leadership; country first.
If you want to understand him, read the book ‘Lincoln on Leadership; executive strategies for tough times.’”
