West Ham and Everton are both on the hunt for a new striker and it seems Sean Dyche may have made a breakthrough.
The Hammers and Toffees have made contrasting starts to the new season. And David Moyes has had a vastly superior summer transfer window too.
West Ham are on the verge of making their fourth high quality signing of the window after agreeing a deal for brilliant Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus and the former Everton boss is targeting a striker next with next Friday’s deadline coming into view.
With a limited budget, Everton have also been feverishly trying to find a forward who can stay fit and score goals.
Third time lucky for Beto over Premier League move West Ham were linked with Beto again last summer with head of recruitment Rob Newman reportedly recommending a fresh bid for the forward after travelling to Italy to scout him according to 90 Min.
In the end, West Ham signed another striker from Serie A instead in the shape of Gianluca Scamacca. But that did not work out and he has been offloaded to Atlanta one year on.
Now Beto finally looks set for a move to the Premier League – but with Everton instead.
