Adebola Adeyemo, former Personal Assistant to veteran Actor Emeka Ike, has revealed details about the strained relationship between Emeka and his ex-wife, Suzanne Emma, asserting that she initiated physical altercations with the actor.
“I refrained from speaking earlier, despite being urged by people, until Emeka decided to address it,” Adeyemo stated, shedding light on the complexities of the relationship due to his close association with both Emeka and Suzanne.
Drawing from his familiarity with the family dynamics, Adeyemo echoed Emeka’s brother Victor’s claim that Suzanne Emma was the first to resort to violence. Recounting an incident during a visit to Osogbo, he explained, “Mama hit him first. She did so twice. We were in Surulere, planning to visit Osogbo to meet Laide, who was filming Jejere at that time.”
Adeyemo delved into a specific episode that heightened tensions, involving Emeka’s daughter. “The issue that day was about the daughter, who was around a year old then. They told us Mama was supposed to take the brother, Jesse, to school. Upon reaching the school, they informed us that they had already left. We found the girl unattended at home, and Emeka, upset, picked her up. An argument ensued between him and Mama, culminating in her hitting Emeka,” he recounted.
Supporting Victor’s earlier statements, Adeyemo highlighted allegations that Emeka’s ex-wife and son had made false claims, urging Michael, the actor’s son, to apologize for abusive words and insults. Victor, a music producer, further alleged that Suzanne Emma had physically assaulted Emeka on multiple occasions and conducted unauthorized bank transactions from his account, to which she had access as a signatory.
