Philip Shaibu has finally been impeached as Edo Deputy Governor by the state Assembly after months of knock-downs and drag-outs between him and Governor Godwin Obaseki.
The lawmakers sacked him this morning over alleged gross misconduct, which he failed to defend at the panel constituted to investigate the matter.
