Dbanj used to pay me N50k to perform at  shows that was booked N1.5m – Rapper Ikechukwu 

A member of the defunct Mohit record, Ikechukwu Onunaku, known simply as Ikechukwu has alleged that Dapo Oyebanjo, also known as D’banj, would pay him N50,000 to perform at a show that was booked for N1.5 million. 

During an Instagram live show hosted by Daddy Freeze, Ikechukwu said that despite being booked for shows for a huge sum of money estimated to be around one to two million naira and payment were made, he only received N50,000. He added that Dbanj would make it look as if it were a “favor” he was doing to him.

Ikechukwu said after protesting the low pay, Dbanj promised to discuss with his num who gave the final approval that the pay be increased to N150,000.  

According to Ikechukwu, there’s no decision made in Mohit without the approval of Dbanj’s mum. He said Don Jazzy knew about that.
