Music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to a trending video where he allegedly slapped his bodyguard, Segxy during his wedding ceremony.
The clip which surfaced on Wednesday, a week after the singer tied the knot with his lover, Chioma, caused a buzz online as it elicited mixed reactions among netizens.
Reacting to the controversy, Davido in a post on his X handle, said he doesn’t care about what people say.
He tweeted: “Note: F#ck what people gotta say! Stay active.”
Meanwhile, Segxy, the bodyguard who was reportedly assaulted by Davido has broken his silence.
According to him, the trending video is “fake”, because the DMW boss did not slap him and has never slapped any of his staff.
The bouncer further explained that Davido only cautioned him while he was trying to prevent a young fan from accessing him.
Speaking via his Instagram account, Segxy wrote: “As regards the fake video flying on the internet, y’all commenting sh*t you don’t know.
“My boss didn’t slap me and has never slapped any of his staff before. He was only cautioning me to allow the boy. The boy in question appeared from nowhere beside us, and I tried to stop him.
“Besides, my boss is my blood and family. I understand him so well without a word from his mouth.. 30BG for life.”
