Campaign with decorum – Obi tells LP House of Assembly candidates
The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi has called on House of Assembly hopefuls under the party to go about their campaigns in a quiet, organized and peaceful manner for the remaining period before the March 18th governorship and state House of Assembly elections.
He made the call in an interview in Awka, shortly after having a meeting with all the Labour Party candidates and winners of National Assembly elections in Anambra state.
Mr Obi urged the candidates to go all out and campaign so that when they win they will be able to contribute in building a better Anambra.
The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, said all he desires was let the best candidate win in election, noting that Nigerians that voted for him during the Presidential election , voted for a new hope . and a new country.
Responding to questions from journalists , the Labour Party Presidential Candidate said he has no issues with Governor Chukwuma Soludo but rather they remain best of friends with only political differences.
The two time former Governor of Anambra state enjoined the Labour party candidates to support the Governor Soludo-led administration by making laws and appropriations that would help to improve on education , health, and infrastructure if they win the March 18th election.
He therefore urged Nigerians not to see election as war but rather an opportunity to elect credible leaders who will better the lots of the people especially the youths.
