Bashir Ahmad, the former aide on social media to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has advocated for the public execution of the man who was arrested for organising the kidnap of six sisters and killing one of them.
The police on Sunday revealed the identity of the terrorist who kidnapped six sisters in Abuja on January 2 and killed one of them, Nabeeha over delay in payment of ransom.
The man’s name is Bello Mohammed, a 28-year-old native of Zamfara State.
The terrorist tried to bribe his way with N1 million when operatives of the Nigeria Police Force raided his hideout in a hotel.
In a post on X, Bashir Ahmad sad: “While I am aware that the law may not agree with me, but the public execution of that terrorist Mohammed Bello, the apprehended kidnapper involved in the kidnapping of #NajeebahAndHerSisters and murdering of Nabeehah and two others, could serve as a stern warning to the remaining members of his gang and other criminals across the country. The last time I checked, the maximum punishment for kidnapping was 10 years imprisonment under the Terrorism Act 2011.”
