Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actor Olawale Oloforo Ibrahim Ashimi, popularly known as Brymo, has made shocking allegations against fellow songwriter Remi Okunola, accusing him of multiple attempts to end his life.
In a bold and candid revelation, Brymo openly declared, “I am accusing Remi Okunola of numerous attempts to have me killed.” He went on to suggest that Okunola is connected to various individuals, stating, “He’s behind many, he’s in connection to everybody.” Expressing his discontent, Brymo accused Okunola of trying to emulate him and issued a warning, saying, “He’s in real trouble with me, and if he’s over 50 years old, he could step down from there to come and make trouble with me while trying to be like me.”
Brymo further drew an enigmatic connection between his own experiences and those of fellow artist Mohbad. He hinted that the unfortunate events surrounding Mohbad were somehow intended for him. Referencing Mohbad’s nickname “Imole,” Brymo associated it with his song ‘Akoko,’ released in 2021, claiming a revealing connection in the second verse of the track.
These startling accusations by Brymo add a layer of complexity and intrigue to the ongoing dynamics within the Nigerian music scene, raising questions about the relationships and rivalries within the industry.
