Katsina Police Command has arrested a bride, Tinene Isa, for allegedly cutting off her husband’s manhood
The force spokesman, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, confirmed the development in an interview on Wednesday in Katsina.
Though Aliyu did not disclose the name of the victim, he indicated he was in a critical state at the General Hospital in Malumfashi.
The Police Public Relations Officer said the incident happened in Kafur Local Government Area.
He added that the suspect allegedly used a razor blade to commit the dastardly act.
“We have opened an investigation into the matter.
“She is a bride of over 30 years of age, maybe she took a long time before she married, or it is not her first marriage.
“I don’t have much details, we will find out all these in our investigations,” he said.
Aliyu also stated the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution after investigations.
