The Senator representing Anambra South in the National Assembly, Ifeanyi Ubah, is dead.
Sources close to the Senator said he died on Saturday in London where he had gone to catch some rest ahead of the battle for the 2025 Anambra governorship election.
Ubah who won election on the ticket of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), later defected to All Progressives Congress (APC). He was 52 years old
Ubah was an oil mogul and a proprietor of a football club, Ifeanyi Ubah FC.
Ubah, who joined the APC a few months ago, was poised to clinch the party’s ticket head of the Anambra State governorship election.
