There are strong indications that the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Emefiele, who has been granted bail by Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court Lagos may be re-arrested by officers of the Department of State Services (DSS).
This indication is propelled by the presence of well-armed operatives milling around the entrance door to the courtroom.
The DSS is poised to rearrest him hence the positioning of their security Toyota Hilux jeep and refused to leave the court premises.
Sensing the agenda of the DSS, the defendant and his team of lawyers are still seated in the court while the judge is trying to prevail on the DSS to allow the defendant perfect his bail terms instead of re-arresting him.
All the lawyers are still in court to know the outcome of what would happen.
