A massive reduction in diesel price has been announced by Dangote Petroleum Refinery, with the product selling at N1,000 as against the N1200 it was previously selling.
Recall that the Dangote Refinery had a few weeks ago while rolling out diesel to the market, said the price would be N1,200 per litre from the previous market price of about N1,600 per litre.
The price has now been reduced to N1,000 effective immediately.
A statement by the organisation on Tuesday night explained the significant reduction in the price of diesel is expected to positively affect all the spheres of the economy and reduce the high inflation rate in the country.
