Governor of Ondo State Lucky Aiyedatiwa has won the Ondo State Governorship election with a landslide margin, defeating the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Agboola Ajayi with a difference of over 200,000 votes.
Aiyedatiwa, who flew the flag of the All Progressives Congress, garnered 366,781 votes to come top.
Ajayi came second in the election with 117,845 votes.
Aiyedatiwa also won in all the 18 local governments of the state with a wide margin against Ajayi.
The results were collated at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Akure, the state capital, and was led by the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Oluwatoyin Babalola.
