Singer Ahmedu Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface, has written an open letter to his former bandmate in Plantashun Boiz, Innocent Idibia famously known as Tuface, and his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay amid their divorce saga.
In a post shared on his X handle, the 51-year-old songwriter appealed to both parties to be civil regardless of what they are going through.
“I bid to you both good tidings Mr & Mrs Idibia. I am reaching out to you guys at this time to remind us to show decorum and be civil with whatever proceedings you may be going through.
“As role models, we should always set good examples for this generation to emulate, and the older generations to be proud. Let’s keep it together in the family as every relationship has its ups and downs.
“I pray God gives you both the strength to scale through this. My regards to your families and my love to your kids. With Love Blackfacenaija”.
Recall that on Monday 27 January 2025, the popular musician and performer announced his separation from his wife, Annie. The celebrity couple got married in 2012 and have two daughters together.
In a post on Instagram, the African Queen inger said they had been separated for some time and had taken steps toward divorce. The post was later deleted but Tuface then released a video to confirming that its contents were accurate.
