Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus, renowned in the Yoruba film industry, has revealed that she is grappling with encephalopathy, a brain disease affecting the function and structure of the brain, leading to issues such as confusion and memory loss.
Bisola, who celebrated her birthday on Monday, took to her Instagram page to share her health struggles. She expressed gratitude for reaching a new age in sound health and acknowledged the support of her family, industry colleagues, and friends during the challenging period.
In her post, the actress disclosed that she had been dealing with encephalopathy for over a year, which prompted her to take a break from social media. Additionally, she shared the heartbreaking news that her mother passed away during this period.
Bisola thanked God for keeping her alive and appreciated the people who stood by her during the tough times, including her family, friends, colleagues in the movie industry, business associates, and the brands she represents.
