The Amotekun Corps in Ekiti State has arrested a man, Musa Abdulahi over allegation that he is an agent of bandits in Ekiti State who supplied them food items in their hideouts.
According to a statement by Head of the Communications Department of the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, Adeleye Abiodun alleged that 35-year-old Musa Abdulahi, an indigene of Sokoto State residing at Shasha in Akure, Ondo State was on Monday 7th October, 2024 arrested in Ise Ekiti at about 6:30 pm.
Adeleye pointed out that the suspect was grabbed by the Amotekun Operatives of lse-Ekiti Local Government Command at Oritan Forest Reserve located at Ise/Orun during a patrol and confessed that he had been supplying food items to people suspected to be Fulani/Bororo bandits hiding in the area.
Exhibits recovered from him at the scene of his arrest inside the forest included a sack bag containing food items.
He has since been handed over to the Divisional Police Station in Ise Ekiti for further investigations.
