AUDIO: Heartless kidnapper threatens to shoot Afenifere Youth leader Ojajuni unless N100m is paid within 48 hours

 

A ransom of N100 million has been demanded for the release of the Afenifere Youth leader, Eniola Ojajuni who was abducted by gunmen on Monday.

Ojajuni was abducted in Abuja by unknown gunmen who demanded N100 million for his release.

An audio of a phone call between the kidnapper and a relative of Ojajuni shows the kidnappers refusing to reduce the ransom demand, Instead warning that he would be shot if the ransom of N100 million isn’t paid.

“I am not forcing to go and get what you don’t have. He has one bullet already lodged in his body. If you can’t get the money, I will add more bullet in his body,” says one of the kidnappers in the phone conversation.

An attempt to plead with the kidnapper to accept N10 million was met with a cold threat. “I am not forcing you. If you don’t have the N100 million, I will add more bullet in his body,” the kidnapper threatened again.

A statement issued by AYC National Secretary Abiodun Aderohunmu hsd disclosed that Ojajuni was kidnapped on February 17.

“The Afenifere National Youths Council is deeply saddened to announce the kidnapping of its National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja, Nigeria,” the statement said.

 

“The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N100, 000,000.

“During the kidnapping, Ojajuni sustained a bullet wound on his buttock. We are deeply concerned about his safety and well-being, and we urge the kidnappers to release him unharmed.

“Ojajuni is a prominent figure in Nigeria and a strong advocate for youth empowerment and development.”

AYC urged the federal government and security agencies to act swiftly for Ojajuni’s release and implored Nigerians with useful information to assist.”
