Atiku, Obi supporters taunt Fani-Kayode, Keyamo over failure to make Tinubu ministerial list

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, and ex-Minister of State for Labour, Festus Keyamo, have become targets of social media taunts following their failure to make list of ministerial nominees of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Fani-Kayode was the head of digital campaign for Tinubu.

Keyamo was the spokesman of the campaign council of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The two men were flagged by European Union Observers for being ‘fake news peddlers.’

On Twitter, Fani-Kayode and Keyamo, have faced taunts from supporters of Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar. Obi and Atiku were opponents of Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.

@SodiqTade said: “Politics is very funny. Keyamo was writing one petition after the other against Atiku during the campaign yet Tinubu snubbed him for a baddie that was probably reading fashion magazine when Keyamo was writing petition in the middle of the night to impress same Tinubu.”

He added: “Bayo Onanuga’s name missing? Lol. FFK should open WhatsApp group and add Keyamo and Bayo to the group.”

@aai_austin said: “Keyamo carried Tinubu’s campaign for head and was dropping fake news every day like Asake dropping new hits. He’s a SAN o! When he was missing on the legal team na when I know his real value. Ministerial list don confirm for am his actual worth.”

@FS_Yusuf_ said: “FFK and Keyamo name nor dey supplementary list!??? VC, abeg na.”

@ManLikeIcey said: “JUST IN: President Tinubu appoints Festus Keyamo and Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) as Special Assistants on Twitter affairs.”

Fani-Kayode and Keyamo have both congratulated those that have made the ministerial list.

Fani Kayode said: “Congratulations to all those in both the first and second Ministerial lists of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. They are all excellent choices and I wish them the very best in their service to our great nation.

“I was a Minister 16 years ago and I know how taxing and challenging it can be. We must remember them in our prayers and ask God to guide them in all their endeavours as they make difficult choices for our nation and assist Mr. President. God will use them to take our great nation to a higher level.”

Keyamo also said: “The second batch of ministerial nominees by President Bola Tinubu are excellent choices. Congratulations to all of them. Wishing them God’s guidance in their various assignments.”
