Atiku lists Tinubu’s ’10 big lies’

The administration of President Bola Tinubu, according to Phrank Shaibu, a communications advisor to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, is not prepared to serve Nigerians.

In a statement titled “10 Big Lies of Tinubu Administration” published on Sunday, Shaibu claimed the federal government, which is led by the All Progressives Congress (APC), prefers to employ propaganda to cover up its lack of accomplishments.

The aide claimed that since former President Muhammadu Buhari took office in 2015, Nigerians have been subjected to poor leadership.

“The repeated lies were evidence that Tinubu’s only plan was to use propaganda to deceive Nigerians rather than do any proper work in rescuing citizens from the bottomless pit of bad governance they had been pushed into in the last eight years plus 117 days,” he said.

Shaibu claimed that the presidency only changed its position after it was “caught” making the claim that Tinubu is the first to ring the closing bell at the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (NASDAQ).

He said a proposed meeting between Tinubu and US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as announced by Ngelale did not hold because it was a “lie”.

“This has turned out to be another embarrassing lie as Tinubu has departed UNGA and never met President Biden,” Shaibu said.
