ASUU will not strike under my watch – Kwankwaso
Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has assured Nigerians especially students of more commitment in the education sector if elected as President in the forthcoming election.
Dr Kwankwaso made this known on Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM Political Program “Dandalin Siyasa”
He said ASUU under his administration as Kano State Governor had never encountered any difficulty and will do the same if elected as President.
He assures students to take their minds off the fear of ASUU strike in the future as education remains one of his priorities.
Dr Kwankwaso who lamented over the high number of out of school children especially in the North Eastern part of the country that was devastated by Boko Haram insurgency said education is the trademark of NNPP.
On security, the presidential candidate said he will restore lasting peace to the most affected areas in the country.
Kwankwaso said if elected as the next president, he will double the number of security personnel to meet up with Nigeria’s population to tackle insecurity.
He called on Nigerians to come out en-masse and vote for NNPP in the forthcoming election.
