Former Niger Delta militant leader, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu is supporting the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to destabilise the peace in Rivers State.
Asari-Dokubo expressed his disappointment in Tinubu for allowing Wike to “run amok including procuring court judgment” to remove the state governor, Sim Fubara.
The ex-President of the Ijaw Youth Council, worldwide made this known while speaking on Arise TV’s Morning Show on Tuesday.
“President Ahmed Bola Tinubu becoming President, I should be able to tell him the truth and what is happening in Rivers State where President Tinubu is supporting Wike to destablize and disturb the peace of Rivers State. As a stakeholder in the state, I feel disappointed.
“For the President to allow his minister to run amok, procure judgment and all sorts, threatening the people of Rivers State because what they are trying to do is remove Fubara, thinking nothing will happen. And I am saying that if you remove Fubara, something will happen. And that is it,” he said.
