As CAC workers jubilate sack of boss, NIPOST staffers sad over departure of CEO
Employees of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) are in jubilant mood over the sack of their chief executive officer and registrar, A. G Abubakar.
But unlike the situation in the CAC, employees of Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST) are protesting the sack of their postmaster general, Adeyemi Adepoju.
PoliticsNow recalls that the NIPOST workers on Monday denied entry to the newly appointed CEO, Tola Odeyemi, saying her appointment was against their wish.
But at the CAC headquarters in Abuja on Monday morning, workers were celebrating the sack of Abubakar whom they described as a tyrant leader.
The workers appreciated President Bola Tinubu for appointing Hussaini Sani (SAN) as the new registrar for the commission.
They advised Sani to ensure anti-labour policies of the last administration are not carried over.
The CAC workers also offered prayers for the new chief executive of the commission.
