After Hilda Baci’s cooking feat for 93 hours and 11 minutes, many Nigerians have hopped into the trend of taking a shot at the World Guinness Records.
The first was Damilola Adeparusi, aka Chef Dammy, who attracted the attention of Nigerians when she announced her plan to cook for 120 hours.
Then came a chef from Ondo, Adeola Adeyeye, who said she would cook for 150 hours.
For Joyce Ijeoma, her intention to enter the World Guinness Records was by doing the longest body massage. She planned to massage clients for 72 hours.
Now, an event compere and entertainer, MC Nwota Chukwuemeka Walter, said he has applied and received approval from the Guinness World Records to commence 130 hours of entertainment, as per reporting by legit.ng.
According to the MC, he is aiming to set a new world record by standing and entertaining an audience for 130 hours.
“After writing and getting approval from the Guinness World Records, I am attempting to be the first individual that will set a world record as I stand to entertain people for 130 hours,” he said.
On how he intends to achieve that, MC Walter said: “I have always liked to give myself a daring target yearly. I will be the only one on stage.”
He said he would not charge people who would want to gain entrance into the entertain-a-thon venue.
He said the event will hold at Citihub, Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi state, from July 18 to 23.
