Social and political activist, Aisha Yesufu, has descended on singer Seun Kuti after both of them had a disagreement during a TV appearance.
The altercation quickly moved to social media where the two personalities used their platforms to attack each other.
Seun, in a video he posted on his social media handle, said he told “Aisha Yesufu’s father off.”
According to Seun, Aisha needed to liberate herself from her hijab before thinking of liberating other women.
In a riposte, Aisha called Seun’s birth a mistake, saying if his father had disciplined himself, his birth would have been avoided.
She said: “Seun Kuti @RealSeunKuti wants to trend with my name as his karaoke business no make am blow alongside those wey dey do music.
“Imagine being angry that I am holding government accountable and not the private sector!
“I don’t blame him sha! If only his father had discipline over his loin we would not be dealing with the consequence of that lack of discipline!
“Person wey people dey book im show because dem wan see a caricature of his father even if they can’t have the real thing.”
