Nigeria’s premier airline, Air Peace, is poised to inaugurate flight services connecting its Lagos hub to Cotonou in Benin Republic and Abidjan in Ivory Coast on January 22, 2024, expanding its regional destinations to 10 within less than a decade since the commencement of scheduled flight operations.
An official statement released on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, by the airline’s spokesperson, Stanley Olisa, conveyed this development. Olisa emphasized that the addition of these new routes underscores the airline’s persistent commitment to linking the entire African continent and fostering economic growth across the region.
In addition to the imminent launch of these new routes, Air Peace will introduce additional connections such as Abidjan-Dakar, Cotonou-Dakar, and Abidjan-Cotonou. According to Olisa, the schedules for these routes are now available on the airline’s website (www.flyairpeace.com) and its mobile app, allowing customers to make bookings and take advantage of the competitive launch fares.
Air Peace stands at the forefront of Nigeria’s aviation sector, boasting a network of 21 domestic routes, 8 regional destinations, and 6 international connections. The airline continues to expand its modern fleet, which currently comprises over 30 aircraft, including 5 recently acquired Embraer 195-E2s, with an additional firm order for 5 brand new Embraer 175s.
