The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) is calling on Nigerians and philanthropists to contribute financial assistance for Amaechi Muonagor, the veteran actor currently grappling with kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke.
AGN National President, Emeka Rollas, took to Instagram to share a photo featuring the ailing actor alongside colleagues, emphasizing the urgent need for assistance and support. While the AGN has allocated funds from the guild’s trust fund, Rollas highlighted that additional financial aid is imperative.
“A few days ago, I led a group of my colleagues and our National Patron, High Chief Ejiamatu Nwokeabia, to visit Amaechi Muonagor,” Rollas stated.
“He remains in high spirits, as witnessed by those who accompanied me. I have authorized a financial contribution from the AGN TRUST FUND to be sent to his account, which may prove insufficient given his history with the Guild HMO & Insurance policy.
“I take this opportunity to appeal to young actors to enroll in the AGN HMO and Insurance programs. I urge all fans and well-wishers of Amaechi Muonagor to unite with other philanthropic Nigerians in supporting him during this critical time of need.”
