Popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Kosoko better known as Adekunle Gold, has cautioned fellow singer, Brymo against making slur comments about his wife, Simi and his entire family.
Brymo had taken to social media on Friday to allege he declined to feature Simi in his song because she refused to “get intimate” with him.
The singer also added that he made a similar request from a Ghanaian songstress, Efya and a few other female artistes.
He went on to say he gave out the condition because he wanted to know what it feels like to make music with a female artiste he was sleeping with.
“There is a part of me that wants to feel remorse for my requirement for a collaboration with the talented Simi.. yet I am reminded that I was indeed, and honestly seeking to experience the outcome of making music with a female act I was bedding. I proposed same to Efya too then..,” he wrote on Twitter.
Brymo added: “Fate clearly interprets to destiny, and by the definition sealed. Free will may then be natural right to participate, and bear witness to the unraveling of one’s own existence though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate because I turned down same request many years before.
“I also did same with Simi… said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity”
Brymo’s tweets after making the rounds online generated heated reactions on Twitter with many questioning his sanity.
Appalled by the singer’s tweet, Adekunle Gold warned him over his contemptuous remark about his wife and urged him to seek mental help.
Taking to his social media page he tweeted: ”Do not disrespect my wife and my family. Get Help!
