Actor Tayo Adeleye loses wife in US

US-based Nollywood actor, Tayo Adeleye, has lost his wife, Shantal Sakwe Adeleye.

The actor announced the death of his wife via Instagram on Tuesday.

Sharing footage from her funeral ceremony and old photos of them together on Instagram, the actor wrote, “Forever etched in my heart, you were my guiding light, my partner in laughter and tears. Your absence is deeply felt, yet your love continues to illuminate my path. Until we meet again, my beloved wife, rest peacefully in the arms of eternity. #InLovingMemory #ForeverMissed.”

He, however, did not disclose the cause of death or the date of her passing.

Tayo and Shantal got married in December 2020. He celebrated his wife’s birthday on August 30, 2023.

Beyond acting, Tayo is also a writer and filmmaker.
