62 Communities in Eti Osa pledge to support Sanwo-Olu for 2nd Term
Sixty-two traditional rulers and community leaders in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos, have pledged to vote in Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a second term in office come next Saturday.
The leaders, under the aegis of Eti-Osa Baale’s Forum made the pledge at a news briefing in Ikota, during which they also sued for peaceful coexistence among all residents of the council area.
The Baale of Lafiaji and Chairman of the Forum, Chief Wasiu Alli-Balogun, claimed that many eligible voters in the council area were disenfranchised during the Presidential and National Assembly elections because they could not locate the new polling units where their names were pasted.
Chief Alli-Balogun appealed to all aggrieved members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, the Eti Osa Council Area to sheath their sword and come out en-masse during the gubernatorial election to reelect Governor Sanwo-olu.
While congratulating the President-elect, Chief Bola Tinubu on behalf of the Forum, Chief Alli-Balogun urged him to prioritize the welfare of the masses and ensure an indivisible Nigeria.
