The details of the 2024 budget recently published on the website of the Budget office shows that President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, will get a total of N21 billion.
A breakdown of how Gbajabiamila plans to spend the N21 billion shows N10 billion for reconstruction and repair of the CoS’s official residence, N104 million for purchase of computers and printers, N579 million for ‘local and foreign travels, including training.
He was also allocated N103 million for miscellaneous expenses and N290 million for purchase of vehicles.
Recall that last week, Tinubu presented a budget of N27.50 trillion, out of which N9 trillion will be borrowed.
On X, Nigerians have been reacting to the details of the budget, especially the allocation for Gbajabiamila.
