A significant turnout of voters has been reported at the National Boat Jetty in Igbonla, Ilaje Local Government Area, Ondo State, as the highly anticipated governorship election holds on Saturday.
The election is slated to be held across all 18 local government areas of the state.
Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission have commenced the distribution of materials to various units at the Registration Area Centre in Anglican Primary School in the Irele Local Government Area of the state.
Polling Unit Officers and National Youth Service Corps members were reported to be on the ground to get their electoral materials.
Early risers were also checking their names on the voterβs list as they waited for the exercise to commence.
